L’installation Across the sea évolue selon les heures. L’installation, constituée par le recouvrement des murs d'un espace par une peinture phosphorescente, possède la faculté de se charger de lumières, naturelles et/ou artificielles, et de la rendre lorsque la pénombre naît.

De surcroît, tout objet faisant obstacle à la lumière devient une ombre dans la phosphorescence.

Ainsi, durant le jour, les murs de l’espace présente une peinture jaune fluo qui devient d’un vert phosphorescent la nuit tombée, exposant, en ombre, le corps des spectateurs et l'activité du jour.

Across the sea ne présente donc pas tant un travail de peinture qu’une installation sur le temps et le corps du spectateur.

The installation Across the sea changes with the hours.

The installation consists of covering the walls of a space with a phosphorescent paint which has the ability to take charge of lights, natural and / or artificial and make it back when the darkness comes.

Plus, any object obstructing the light becomes a shadow in the phosphorescence.

So during the day, the walls of the space has a fluorescent yellow paint that becomes a green phosphorescent night, outlining in shadow, the body of the spectators and the day's activity.

Across the sea do not present a paint job but an installation about time and the body of the viewer.
